What folks say about EC trainings:
EC Course Description
EC stands for Encouragement Consultant. These are people who have decided to inspire themselves and others to focus on personal growth. Instead of continuing to drown in discouraging thoughts, feelings and behaviors, they learn how to practice the 3 A’s: Awareness, Acceptance and Action. Once they begin to change they’ll notice that people around them often want some of what they have. They’ll be able to help others be more encouraging to themselves, too. They’ll become Encouragement Consultant to themselves and others.
EC trainings are for people who wish to inspire themselves and others with courage; they focus on effort and improvement; they invite people to change for themselves; they help themselves and others re-parent their inner child. They learn strategies that are based on respect. They also learn how to find solutions to real-life problems.
The three-day course is packed with experiential activities that focus on developing awareness, acceptance, and action plans. For those who have studied PD, they will learn how to apply PD to to adult relationships. They’ll learn how to use PD tools to grow up the little kids who live inside of them, who are waiting for understanding and help to move forward. Course participants will have a deeper understanding of how Adlerian psychology is useful and helpful to increase self-love and understanding. They’ll have an alternative to the medical model, which is called the encouragement model, and they’ll understand why this model is more productive. They’ll also learn about the seven steps to creativity and joy. For those who want to help others, they’ll find several ways to do that while earning money at the same time. They include one-on-one sessions and group classes.
There are three different certificates available for participants which are outlined in the attached spreadsheet. You don’t have to collect a lot of certificates (though for some, collecting certificates is comforting). What you do need is to learn by doing, by adopting an encouragement model for yourself and others.
